Excellent film, tackling social issues of modernism in sex education. Starring the great Setsuko Hara as a teacher in a girls' school. Her love interest is a gruff doctor played by someone who evokes Mifune. Yoko Sugi as the intrepid young girl student is excellent. Her friendship with her young boy friend is quite delightful and invokes some vague nostalgia in me.
